    Phyto Detective

Plants are remarkably adaptable and responsive organisms, and they display this responsiveness often in visually striking ways, such as their response to gravity (geotropism), light (phototropism), and temperature, which requires plant hormone action and alters phytochemical production. Although phytochemicals are invisible, their impacts on plant growth and development are inevitable. This is an example. Please check this video. You will see three plants and one of them makes compound called auxin unusually high compared to the other two plants. Auxin known as plant growth hormone plays a crucial role in plant growth and development. Plants having increased auxin often show curled-down leaves. Can you tell which plant produces high levels of auxin?
