Biosketch
Lukas M. Hallman was born in Westhampton, New York and grew up in a variety of places including Hawaii, New Jersey, northern Michigan, the Florida Keys, and Maryland. Lukas graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in plant science in 2018. Afterward, he worked as an agricultural technician for the University of Maryland as well as a project manager for a commercial landscaping and nursery company. His interest in horticulture led him to pursue his graduate studies in citrus horticulture at the UF/IFAS Indian River Research and Education Center in Fort Pierce, Florida.
